The Straus Dairy requires an ATV work horse that can climb those steep hills
surrounding Tomales Bay and work as an all around utility vehicle for the
farm. When tested on site, the Model One performed better than Straus'
conventional ATVs and had the added benefit of "free fueling". Currently the
Straus dairy operates a methane digester which produces 90% of their own
energy. Rather than gasoline this vehicle can be powered off of the energy
that Albert produces on the farm, along with his extraordinary
dairy products.
